Why should your child learn a second language?*

To enrich and enhance intellectual development
To offer a life-long advantage
To provide a head start for future language learning
To boost scholastic performance in other subject areas
To nurture the ability to be open-minded and sensitive to other cultures
To foster good listening skills

Text Box: In our program children are encouraged to speak throughout games and activities designed to both educate and entertain. We will develop French language skills while using art, songs, games and cooking.

Learning the language should be fun and rewarding. We will focus on conversation and culture. Advanced students will also learn how to read and write French.

Every month a theme will be explored through activities like:

Art: Illustrate new vocabulary and discover famous French artists
Cuisine: Discover some French specialties, learn how to prepare and enjoy them.
Games: Explore French through educative games.
Songs : Improve the comprehesion and the expression of the language

Among our subjects :

How to introduce ourselves: Je m'appelle/bonjour/bonsoir.
How are you doing?: Comment vas-tu ? Je vais bien, mal.
What's the weather like? Il fait beau, froid, chaud .
Who's my family? A good way to introduce pronouns : je, tu, il, elle, nous .
