Anne-Sophie Gueguen, Head of School and Founder
After 10 years of experience in corporate communications and events organization for the French Steel Industry, Anne-Sophie Gueguen joined the European Commission to launch the advertising campaign that introduced the Euro. She and her husband Jean-François lived in Miami, Florida then moved to Haworth, New Jersey in 2002. She is the mother of Malo, Arthur, Lola and Maya and is committed to keeping the French language and culture alive in the hearts and minds of her children and the students at The French Academy. In 2011, Anne-Sophie has been named “Chevalier dans l’Ordre des Palmes Académiques”.

Frédéric Crosnier, Board member
Frédéric Crosnier was born and raised in Paris, France, where he lived until moving to the US in 1998.  He has 12 years experience working in the financial industry and is currently a technology manager at a large securities firm in downtown Manhattan.  During his free time he enjoys many sports including cycling, tennis, golf & soccer.  Fred, his wife, Linda, and their three children have been residents of Haworth, NJ since 2002.

Christopher Giancarlo, Board member
Chris Giancarlo is the Executive Vice President of GFI Group Inc. (NYSE: GFIG), a leading inter-dealer broker of over-the-counter derivative products and related securities based on Wall Street. He shares his love for France with his wife, Regina and their three children, Emma, Luke and Henry.

Jean-Francois Gueguen, Board member
Jean-Francois Gueguen has 20 years of experience in trading and shipping. He has been conducting successful international business operations in Asia, Africa and USA since 1998. Jean-Francois has experienced various cultures and languages during his professional life. Naturally he has been trying to teach his 4 children the beauty and benefit of knowing multiple cultures. Jean-Francois got his MBA from Essec Business School. Jean-Francois also graduated from the University of Paris, with a master in Economics and Econometry.

Robert Kravitz, Board member
Robert holds a BS in Business from Rutgers University, an MBA from St. Peter’s College, and Masters in Education in Educational Leadership. After 16 years running a successful food distribution company, he changed careers and went into education. After teaching for several years, he became principal of Fort Lee School #3. In 2010 his school was named a National Blue Ribbon School. This award is given to the top 1/10 of 1% of the schools in the United States. Robert and his wife Sandrine have three children, Alex, Jeremy and Leila, who are all enrolled full time in the French Academy. His wife is also a certified teacher. Additionally, he is the author of “A Blue Ribbon Story”: An Entrepreneurs’ Success in Education” due out in the Spring of 2011.

HP Singh, Board member
Hemant P. Singh (H.P) is the Principal Partner of K.S Capital Markets a boutique Wealth management firm with over 15 years of experience. Before joining KS Capital Management, Inc., H.P was Chairman of Private Wealth Management, LLC. H.P. has served as an ex-president of the Wall Street Rotary club. Actively involved with College Senior level Mentoring programs and charitable causes like the Kidney Urology Foundation of America, he has attended the CUNY college and obtained his Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration from Almeda University. H.P is a father of two children attending the French Academy, and a husband who enjoys family time. He shares a passion for art, tennis and travel and has fulfilled the lifetime dreams of climbing Machu Picchu and the Great Wall of China with the whole family.
